Rolland W Racine
Military ROLL OF HONOURKilled in Action (KIA) 11 January 1944 in A/C 42-22525. On the operational mission in the Steinhuder Lake area, Germany, Lt. Racine, after getting into a fight with hostile aircraft, was returning home. A call for help came over the R/T and he immediately did a 180 turn and was last seen in a 45 degree dive going very fast heading east. Status: Missing in Action (MIA) 11 January 1944. Changed to Killed in Action (KIA) 6 August 1945.
