Sergeant Roland L. Grubbs was born June 21, 1921. His wife was Alma Grubbs, and his parents were Jennings and Frieda Grubbs. He was from Freemont, Nebraska.
On December 24, 1944, he was serving as the Left Waist Gunner aboard “Lady Lora,” B-24 tail #42-50799 of the 448th Bomb Group, 714th Bomb Squadron, when his plane was shot down over St. Vith, Belgium.
He is buried in the Freemont Memorial Cemetery in Freemont.
