489th Bombardier/Navigator 1/Lt Roger Leslie Underwood passed away on 20 October 2016 at the age of 91. Roger flew with Jack McMullen’s crew and he completed 32 missions over France and Germany. Roger was buried with full military honors at Miramar National Cemetery.
