Born in Wooster, Ohio, Bob Fowler graduated from King College in Bristol, Tennessee, and from the U.S. Armed Forces Staff College. A long-time educator, he taught history, physical education and R.O.T.C. He continued his career with the Air Force after the War, achieving the rank of Colonel.
Bob Fowler served as as the Air Force Congressional Liaison Officer in the United States Congress, and then as a White House Aide for Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. In retirement he was a passionate scratch golfer, a loving husband and beloved grandfather.
