Military ROLL OF HONOURAssigned to 335FS, 4FG, 8AF USAAF. Mechanical issues forced him to abort from mission 17-Jan-45, then bail out over the English Channel 30 miles east of Lowestoft. Air Sea Rescue unable to locate him. The following day, 12 A/C from Debden went up to search for him and located an upturned dinghy 33 miles east of Yarmouth, but no trace of Stallings was found.
