Shot down by flak and fighters and crashed near Oberbruch/Rheinland on a mission to a JU88.
Halbertstadt/Wernegarode Germany aircraft factory 22 Feb 1944 mission. Aircraft 'sweater girl' was seen hit by flack on the right wing and went down in a spin near Koln. Prisoner of War.
