Robert H Hellinger
MilitaryAs a member of the Air Force Service Command, on February 20, 1943, piloted a Master III DL777 on a training mission with RAF Lt. E. T. Francis on board as a passenger. After takeoff from Madley, Herefordshire heading to Heathrow the weather closed in and forced a landing in a field in Buckinghamshire. Both men were returned to duty.
