The following is the transcript of Woodie Coleman at the Mount Comfort Air show (October 26, 1989) meeting Robert Pedigo, who signed.
“Bob Pedigo 453rd all American B-24 Nafi (This is Bob Pedigo's signature.)
This plane had #1571 Norden Bombsight on it.
He (Bob Pedigo) worked in a Machine Shop at Lucas Harold 43-44. I (Woodie) was the final inspector at Lucas Harold NOPI.  He (Bob Pedigo) told me he sent over perfect gears.  We rejected it and sent it back – did not process right.
Sat in gunner’s room. Pictures of Bombsight in front. Pedigo and I and others had pics taken as Bombsight build, Inspector, and Bombardier.
He (Pedigo) stated on 10-26-89 that he had not seen a completed Bombsight until he was in Service. This Sigat (bombsight) was #1571 which I no doubt inspected.
P.S.  I had no thought of seeing again a Bombsight that I had probably inspected 45 or so years earlier”  Woodrow "Woodie" Coleman
