Military ROLL OF HONOURKilled in Action (KIA) Shot down on 9/12/44 in B-17 Big Gas Bird #4231638. Mentioned as killed by German police while prisoner of war. Survived by mother Emma Moreland Kuhn Lucas and younger brother Charles P. Kuhn, M.D., a pilot of B-25s slated for action in the Pacific, but thanks to Japan's surrender, never flew in combat. Namesake is nephew Robert Kuhn of Los Angeles.
