I am Susan Thompson, Robert D. Thompson's daughter. I know these facts to be true directly from my father as well as from the attached autobiography, 'Kriegie' - written by Leonard Lincoln who was my father's crew mate on the B-24 shot down. They spent the entire time as POW's in Germany together.
