Military ROLL OF HONOURKilled in Action (KIA). B-24 AC# 44-10541. While on weather reconnaissance mission over the North Sea, the plane encountered severe icing and went into a spin. Pilot recovered AC at 700 ft, but three cres members had bailed out. Ai/Sea rescue could not locate the men.
