Staff Sergeant Raymond A. Buchholz was born September 1, 1919. His next of kin were his parents, Walter and Etta Buchholz. His hometown was Wautoma, Wisconsin. 
He was serving as the Nose Gunner aboard “Hot Rock,” B-24 tail #44-40162, of the 491st Bomb Group, 855th Bomb Squadron, when shot down over Wesel, Germany, on March 24, 1945. 
He is buried at the US Military Cemetery at Margraten, Holland.
