Sergeant Paul V Connors of the 93rd Bomb Group.

On 28 January 1945, Sergeant Connors volunteered to fly as an observer with this crew. It was his first ride in an airplane. Enroute to bomb Dortmund coke plant, plane was hit by flak burst in bomb bay area. Plane crashed near Essen. Sergeant. Connors did not survive the crash.
