Photo of my father, Parker Foss, taken outside his B17 sometime during his time at Rattlesden (1943-45).
Uploaded
Parker Foss (my father) dropped out of Harvard in 1941 to join the Army Air Corps. He ended up being stationed at Rattlesden (UK) airbase and flew many missions over Germany as a navigator on a B17. He survived the war, returned to the US, married my mother and had two sons (both still living). He died in 2004, age 82.
