Shot down over Germany 19 March 1945. Parachuted out and captured by Germans. Member of 1st Lt. Robert Podijil's crew. 8 members of crew were Killed in Action (KIA). As a lead crew, we lost 2 engines over target and tried to get back to our lines. 2 Messerschmitz 109s did not allow.
