Lebron O Fox
Military"Iowans of the Mighty Eighth", Chapter 22 "Biographies", by Charles D Taylor.
Lebron worked as an auto mechanic in civilian life and was inducted in February 1942. He was sent to Mechanics school at Wichita Falls where 'in 110 days we went through a course that normally took three years..' In May 1943 he joined the 351st at Polebrook and became a 'floater' helping all the ground crews instead of just being responsible for a single aircraft. Discharged in September 1945 he variously operated a fix-it shop, was employed in an auto parts store and then worked for a construction company.
