Military ROLL OF HONOURKIA. Flew 26 combat missions. Shot down on mission to Halle, Germany, and crashed at Westerode in B-24 42-50374. Murdered by the Gestapo after becoming POW for less than a day near Bad Harzburg, Germany on 7 Jul 1944.
