Flew as crew member on 'Taylor Made' piloted by Don W. Taylor. The crew logged 25 missions, the first on January 7th 1945, and included food drops over Holland 'The people knew we were coming, they were there by the thousands. We came over so low we could see their mouths open and they were waving like crazy...It was a real upper'. Discharged October 15 1945 he worked on the family farm until 1984 when he left to drive a contract mail route and- after retirement - helped out with Meals on Wheels.
