Wenatchee, WA, USA | 12 October 2003 | LaVern "Vern" Young, 80, of East Wenatchee, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003, in Wenatchee. He had owned and managed beauty salons and farms in the Yakima area. After retiring, he lived in Libby, Mont., for seven years before moving to East Wenatchee in 1998. Survivors include his wife, Laura J. Young, of East Wenatchee; a daughter, Linda Stephen of Wenatchee; two sons, Brent Young of Yakima, and Samuel Young of Overbrook, Okla.; and a sister, Blanche Croly of Burien. A family remembrance will be held at a later date, with inurnment in the Wenatchee Cemetery. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee. |
