Gallipolis, Ohio 23 August 2006 John Marshall Wilkerson, 85, of Dunbar passed away Aug. 23, 2006, at The Arbors, Gallipolis, Ohio, after an extended illness. He attended the Charleston School of Commerce and Gregg College, Chicago. He was formerly employed by Allegheny Freight Lines and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Dunbar. Mr. Wilkerson was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He served in the Air Corps as a first lieutenant, having flown 51 missions over Italy and France.
