John L Dwyer

Military

my father, Lt John L Dwyer, flew 72 missions in a P-47 from April of '44 to August of '44. Died in 1976 at the age of 55. like most of his generation he didn't talk much about his service during WWII. one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. about 15 years ago, one of his wingman told me they called my father "sweetsie". I ask him why and he replied "he was just the nicest guy. So sweet." we all miss him still to this day. WD
