This fellow was the pilot of the B-24 that crashed on its 24th mission. My father was his co-pilot. I know some information about this mission. I have the original photo of the crew. I do not know which man in the photo is John Saunders. My father never spoke of him or what happened to him that I can recall. I found this strange as it is my recollection he was shot by an agrarian civilian while being transported after capture. If anyone has information on this man, please call Homer at 703-314-4314
