Military ROLL OF HONOURAssigned to 343FS, 55FG, 8AF USAAF. Failed to Return (FTR) escort mission to Kiel in P-38 42-67045. Group engaged 25+ enemy fighters, A/C lost starboard engine and lagged behind group on return to base, then whist being shepherded home, port engine started to fail west of Kiel. 5-Jan-44 . Killed in Action (KIA). MACR 1743.
