After being shot up shortly after bombs away on a bombing mission to Frankfurt am Main, GR on 11 Feb 1944, B-17G #42-39810 'Big A Bird' crashed at Horsmonden, Kent when trying to reach RAF Station West Malling. RTD.



Shot down 24 May 1944 in B-17 #42-97787. Plane crashed into North Sea. Killed in Action (KIA).
