We have him listed as participating in four 437th flights as a C-47 Pilot: Mission DETROIT on 06 June 1944; Mission GALVESTON on 07 June 1944; the resupply and air evacuation Mission #7 in June of 1944 and the resupply and air evacuation Mission #49 in August of 1944.
According to Frank Guild's book: 'A Journey to the Far Shore', Captain Jay Bloch, who was the 84th TCS Liaison Officer, was transferred to the 53rd Troop Carrier Wing in the summer of 1944.
Jay was a member of the 437th TCG Association and was listed on their rosters from 1972 until 2002; he attended several reunions.
