Completed 32 missions as part of Robert Wilkes crew. 1st mission (5 Jan 45) ran out of oxygen had to leave formation to lower altitude. Low on gas landed in France at fighter base. Weather so bad couldn't get back to home base for 5 days.
Air Medal w 1 silver and 1 bronze cluster
