MilitaryShot down 30 December 1943 in B-17 #425997 'Heaven Can Wait. ' Prisoner of War (POW). Originally evaded the Germans and worked with the French Underground . Was picked up by the Gestapo at the train station in Paris on his way to escape to Spain over the Pyrenees Mtn.
