James Madison Morris Jr
MilitaryInducted 8 July 1941. Five months later he was on Oahu in a hospital during the Japanese attack Dec 7, 1941. Made decision to become a pilot. Departed for England on 19 April 1944. Flew 34 Missions in Germany, France, Luxembourg and Belgium.
Prisoner of War after he Crashed at Schwittersdorf on 9/11/44 in B-17 named "Junkers Joy" #42-31828. Was POW for 10 months. Separation date 13 Jan 1946.
