We have him listed as participating as a C-47 Crew Chief on five 437th flights: Mission Detroit on 06 June 1944; Mission Galveston on 07 June 1944; the Dragoon Movement in July of 1944; the re-supply and air evacuation Mission #49 in August of 1944 and Operation Market-Garden on 17 September 1944.
Jacob was killed near Eindhoven, Holland during Operation Market-Garden. He was the Crew Chief of C-47A 43-15302 which was flying in Position #35. The MACR #9904 has statements from other 84th TCS personnel flying in the same serial (A-30)
