Tulsa, OK, USA 7 September 2006 J.W. Lewis, age 83 of Tulsa, formerly of Wagoner, died on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006 in Tulsa at the Colonial Manor Care Center. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11, 2006 in Wagoner at the Elmwood Cemetery with Dr. Wesley Graver officiating. J.W. was born in Rose to Bert and Oda (Dudgeon) Lewis on July 30, 1923 and was a graduate of Muskogee Central High School. J. W. served in the U. S. Air Force from 1942 to 1945 during World War II, and the Korean Conflict, receiving four Air Medals and four Battle Stars.
