Henry Boone Daniel Jr
Military ROLL OF HONOURDaniel was Killed in Action on 6 February 1945 in B-24 #44-10515 while forming up before a mission to Magedeburg. His aircraft became caught in the prop wash of another, and clipped the underside of B-24 #42-94766, chopping it's tail off, and causing it to crash near Deopham. All of the crew were killed in the incident.
The circumstances of Daniel's death were not communicated to his family, until September 1946.
