He flew on Robert Chrisjohn crew except when he became a POW flying on Edwin D. Woellner crew. POW crashed at Bingen on 29 Dec 44 in B-17 #43-39031. Radio Operator, on flight. He apparently was separated early from other surviving crew members since Radio operators were normally sent to separate POW camp. He is not mentions as being with four other POW bound crew members by those who left account. Released POW camp 26 May 1945. Released from U S Army 20 Sept 1945. Died 20 Jan 2009 in Punta Gorda, FL, and buried in Wildwood Cemetery, Chesaning, Saginaw Co, MI Plot: North 3.
