"S/Sgt. Glendon E. Catt, 23, Lake Odessa, Mich. And Lakeland, Fla., bombardiers-navigator of an AAF Martin B-26 Marauder, was presented the Soldier's Medal by Brig. Gen. Robert M. Webster at a decoration ceremony at 12th AAF bomber base Jan 9. He saved a comrade from drowning after a crash landing at sea. Catt flies with the 'Big tail Birds' oldest Martin B-26 group in the Mediterranean Theatre."
Assigned to 441BS, 320BG, 12AF USAAF.
