Made a crash landing between Ede and Veenendaal (Holland) in a area called “De Kraats” ", in P-51 'Sugar Kane' #44-14424. He had leaks in the external gas tanks and leaks in the coolant system. He was one of the Americans who Evaded with Operation "Pegasus I".
