Military

Loaded fragmentation bombs which were dropped on American troops (friendly fire). Retrieved 2000# bomb from airstrip because it had not dropped on target, but dropped on runway at touchdown. Unloaded bombs from two airplanes which had cracked up at preflight. Flew home on war-weary 'Witchcraft'. Since our work was done at night under black out conditions our efforts were never recognized.
