Arrived in England on 1 April 1945. Ater the surrender of the Japanese he was attached to 310th Ferrying Squadron to be trained for service in the Pacific but instead was trained as a revenue traffic officer for the EATS serving at Hyde Park Corner, London. Also served in security office at London Terminus until return to USA.
