Assigned to the 384th BG 546th BS on Gowen Field, Idaho, Special Orders #362 dated 28 December 1942, as a member of the original squadron cadre. Served with the 384th BG 546th Squadron for the entire duration of the war, from training in Wendover, through its transfer to Istres, France in June 1945. Returned to the US in July 1945.
