I am the son of Frank J. Maringo. (Richard Maringo) II am the owner of this picture. I looked up my farther on the American Air Museum and there is no picture of him. Is it possible for you to take this picture and place it under his name? Thank you.

Object Number - UPL 78992 - This is a picture of my Farther (Frank J. Maringo) when he was in the 305th bomber squad in WWII.

Frank J. Maringo - From Turtle Creek PA. Serviced in the Army Air Corp from Oct 1944 to March 1946. 305th Bomber Group H 8th Air Force. Aerial Engineer - Gunner 748. Flew in a B-17 and had 13 missions over Germany. Was honorably discharged in 1946. Married and had three children located in the Pittsburgh PA area. He attended many of the 305th's annual reunions and met many of his fellow servicemen over the years. He was proud of his service to the country. Frank passed away of natural causes at the age of 97 on Fed. 21 2020. He will be remembered as a kind and gentle man.
