Born 13 Aug 1917. Resident Callahan County TX. Joined Army Air Corps before war on 23 Nov 1940 in Ft Worth TX. Assigned 772nd Bomber Squadron flying out of Foggio Italy area. During a mission on 19 Mar 1944, his B-17 #42-31823 collided with #42-38143 and crashed into the Adriatic Sea. He was declared MIA and presume dead. Name listed at Florence American Cemetery and marker with his family at Elmwood Memorial Park in Abilene TX.
