B-17 #42-107041 "Ain't Misbehavin'" was shot down over Kassel, Germany, on 30 November 1944 when the crew was on its 23rd mission. Five crew members were Killed in Action (KIA) and four, including Sergeant Sabel, were Prisoners of War (POW).
