On 12 June 1944. B-17 #44-6019 shot down by AA crashed near Beveren, Belgium, west of Antwerp. POW at Stalag Luft 4 Gross-Tychow (formerly Heydekrug) Pomerania, Prussia (moved to Wobbelin Bei Ludwigslust) (To Usedom Bei Savenmunde) 54-16.
