He describes it: 'Heavy anti-aircraft fire, flak hi no. 3 and no. 4 engine knock out and one other engine not up to par. We went into dive losing 10,000 ft. ; alert given for possible bail out but we made it back to base. It was 115 missions for 'How Soon' Fortress. '
