My Dad, Edward, has a photo that depicts him, 'a General, a Major and a Captain, that was something to have them all in one picture along with him. ' He was honorable discharged October 10, 1945 at the Separation Center, Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was always thankful he was sent to England, that is where he met my Mom, Winifred Isabel Staples. They were married almost 62 yrs before his passing in 2006. She recently passed away, Dec. 12, 2010.
