Donald P Sundby

While approaching Wesel, Germany during 'Operation Varsity' on March 24, 1945, Lt. Sundby's C-47 was shot down by German flak and crashed in a field, killing all four crew members. Lt. Sundby was from Minneapolis, MN, and is buried at the Fort Snelling Military Cemetery in Minneapolis.
