Donald J Hudson
MilitaryKilled in Action (KIA) Crashed near Aachen, Germany in B-24 'Miss Judy' #42-52507; see also Watts p157. Lt. Hudson is buried in the Netherlands American Cemetery in Plot D, Row 6, grave 16. Don went to school in Johnstown, PA. Waist gunner John Potsklan was also from the Johnstown area. I am Mike Barndt, son of waist gunner Elmer Joe Barndt. Recently several members of my family made the trip to Margraten to visit Don's grave and pay our respects. It was emotional to be there. His grave has been adopted by a Dutch family and is part of the Faces of Margraten held each Memorial Week in May in the Netherlands. The cemetery is well cared for and heavily visited by the Dutch. We were there on a weekday and there was a constant flow of people coming and going.
