Flew 35 missions, summer of 1944. Two missions on D-Day. First was across the channel to hit submarine pens (diversion); second was that evening to hit bridges in Normandy. Later flew a round robin: hit Berlin, landed in Russia; hit oil refineries; landed in Italy; then over France & home.
