Whilst flying with the Nagel Crew 35. On 5/1/1945 in A/C "Rage in Haven", 44-40165, the 491st assembly ship crashed after taking off in a snowstorm from North Pickenham, it exploded and burned near Swaffham, Norfolk. DNB, he is buried at, Plot E Row 0 Grave 84, Cambridge American Cemetery, England.
