Brooklyn, New York 25 September 1925 My father did not often speak of the war. As he became older, he started to tell stories of the war to his 2 grandsons. One of them grew up to fight in Afghanistand and Ukraine. Before his grandson left for service, he came by his grandfather's VA nursing home in his "Dress Uniform" to say goodbye.
