Clyde Francis Dale was my uncle that I never met but always knew of via my mother and my aunt. My middle name was a tribute to him and as I have been researching him since I visited the Ardennes Cemetary in Belgium I discovered your site had his middle inital wrong.
I have in my possesion his medals including his Purple Heart. I also edited above a few other other things that I know about him. I feel very priviledged to have an uncle the ultimate sacrafice so that I can enjoy my life in freedom. David F. Bassett
