Shortly after take off on mission to Eschweiler on 24-Jan-44, B-17F 42-3307 'Skipper' crashed to avoid a mid-air collision at low level. Wounded in Action (WIA).

Shot down 28-May-44 in B-17 42-31389 'Lucious Lucy'. Killed in Action (KIA). MACR 5382
